A: The best technique would be to troll with 18 lb lead core line followed by 24 inches of 25 lb test fluorocarbon. Then follow that up with your choice of a 1oz. Rat-L-Trap, preferably chrome with blue back, or a lipped Mirrolure, model #L52MR. Some find that putting a pink B2Squid as a trailer behind the Mirrolure or Rat-L-Trap is a good way to go. I say that 70% of my hook-ups come off using the B2Squid trailer.
